Punta Monterrey, is 1 hour South of Puerto Vallarta. We will have 2 hour classes in the morning and 2 hours of self practice in the afternoon, Pune style. These classes will be intermediate. Inversions and backbends practiced regularly for those with an ongoing regular Iyengar yoga practice. Beach or restorative poses can be the alternative for those more new to the daily practice of Yoga. This is a unique opportunity to study outdoors on the exquisite coast 1 hr south of Pta. Vallarta. It is an eco-all inclusive beach, progressive, earth friendly resort, with a bar. The weather is lovely in March, the beach is gorgeous, Humpback whales were seen daily last March. Afternoon swimming and beach walks in a secluded private cove. Sea kayaks are available for use, boogey boards, family members are welcome, Yoga not required, beach lovers welcome. Meals are included, food is not fancy, but locally sourced and very fresh, all diets are accommodated. More info to follow.

Iyengar Yoga Classes with Heide
7:30-9:00 am, 5 days of Iyengar Yoga with Heide. Try and come to as many classes as life allows
As our community grows I will begin to add different level classes and begin weekly Iyengar Intensives. In these Intensives we will work daily to develop common language, stamina and endurance, and balance. In the beginning we will work on standing poses to bring stability to the spine, we will progress into beginning backbends and inversions as we develop in proficiencey. These ongoing Intensives are designed to give the yoga student the experience yoga as it is intended to be practiced, DAILY. We get stronger when we work on difficult things together.
